What to Expect
As a volunteer, you’ll work with enthusiastic classrooms of 20-25 students. While we encourage you to follow the school curriculum and textbooks, your creativity is highly valued! Designing your own lesson plans and incorporating engaging activities can make learning a joyful and impactful experience. To make your teaching even more dynamic, we suggest bringing materials like:
- Picture books
- Flashcards
- Musical instruments
- Art supplies
- Songs and games
The Community Resource Center
Beyond the classroom, our Resource Center serves as a vital hub for learning and growth in the local community. Here, we run three-month English programs for youth and adults with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. These programs offer an excellent platform for foreign teachers to enhance their conversational English skills while engaging with diverse learners.
The center also includes a library and other resources that support the broader goal of fostering literacy and language development within the community.
