Embark on an unforgettable journey with People Helping People Nepal Organization’s Home Stay and Cultural Exchange Program, designed to immerse you in the authentic essence of Nepali life. This program invites you to experience the vibrant culture, traditions, and hospitality of Nepali families in both bustling tourist hubs and serene, remote villages.
What Makes This Program Unique?
This is more than just a visit—it’s a two-way cultural exchange. As a participant, you’ll become part of a Nepali family, gaining firsthand experience of their daily lives, language, cuisine, and traditions. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to share your own culture, fostering mutual understanding and connection.
Unlike other volunteer programs, this program skips the typical formal group training sessions. Instead, you’ll be immersed in the local community, with daily language lessons (2 hours each in the morning and afternoon) to enhance communication and build deeper bonds with your host family.
Beyond the Home Stay
Your journey doesn’t stop at the doorstep of your host family. Participants can enjoy additional activities, such as jungle safaris, trekking, and visits to local landmarks, creating a holistic and memorable experience of Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural richness.
